Who am I and how did I get here?

A story of gambling site freebies, YouTube comment bots, forex losses, and building things that mostly fail.

I am Asutosh, a 20-year web3 grad from India. I mostly came into existence on the internet after 2019.

I am a tech nerd, doing freelancing and a bunch of experiments on my thoughts.

The First Internet Money

I have done a bunch of projects, but the first internet penny I made was from some freebies given by a gambling site back during the corona times.

It was around 5-10$ at the time, which I made so far to 15-20$, then lost all in a bet.

Yeah, that's how it started.

The YouTube Giveaway Hack

Then the next thing I discovered was a bunch of YouTube creators who were giving some kind of freebies (like AirPods, earphones, watches, 5-10$) for the first commenters of their video.

They have some audiences on Telegram where they already informed about the upload time and encourages people to like and comment first to get some rewards, as it also boosts their video traction.

I used to wait and comment manually. I never could do the first comment, but I observed one thing: there were a bunch of fixed accounts that used to win all the giveaways.

This new thing and my curiosity led me to discover PYTHON.

I learnt a bit and made a python script using google YouTube APIs and won a lot of giveaways, made 200-300$ plus a couple of tech gigs.

Later discovered more giveaways and won a smartphone in 2021 from the internet and this small thing led me to fall in love with tech and internet money.

The Middleman Play

Then did a commission-based income where I placed a personalized ad on a website for a YouTube creator and made 300$ being the middleman pretending I am the website owner.

As new money came, the first thing that came to mind was to multiply this money as stocks return of 8-10% a year was not satisfying.

Discovered forex trading and lost all.

The Learning Phase

I was good at studies too, but was a bit off in studies after discovering the internet but consumed a lot of knowledge on content creation, AI, algorithms of all socials, and science.

Then when this new AI thing started, started freelancing on Upwork as a TTS and voice-cloning artist, as I saw a supply-demand gap.

Made 2-3k in first year, later got bored doing the same gigs, pivoted to virtual assistant as YouTube automation, worked and learnt a lot from various YouTube faceless creators.

The Crypto Cycle

Then as money came, again got distracted and put all the money in crypto and leverage trading, made a few but mainly lost, then discovered a few on-chain data, strategies, and insiders and grew my money to a lot, but lost a significant chunk on 10/10 (ifykyk).

What I've Built

Meanwhile I have been working on a lot of projects.

Made some projects on WordPress and vibecoded a room rental website, and also my first comment bot service.

Made an indicator-based 24/7 auto signals provider forex Telegram bot (my main aim was to sell this on a MRR basis, but a perfect tool for beginner traders to take structured trades instead of trades on instinct - but I am very bad at marketing, currently learning now).

A crypto calls tracker and Telegram notifier.

An Android-based typing enhancer app but only for myself - will publish on Play Store after getting some time.

Failures

Mostly all of my things have failed, which changed my mindset.

Before it used to be like that before starting any project, I used to think it was a billion-dollar idea.

Now it used to be like it will fail eventually.

But I still build anyway.

Current Works

Making content on crypto.

A PG/room rental brokerage-based online business in my city.

Marketing for my FreyaTrades to bring customers to sell the trading bot.

Affiliate type automated content creation, like selling Tradelle products automatically.

What I Can Do

I can design, code, build things, learning web3, marketing, consume tech like oxygen.
